Each booth sells a variety of things: decorations, seasonal flowers, fresh vegetables and fruit, hand made items, antiques, daily goods, clothes and so on.
We hope that everyone gets a chance to meet people, communicate with the locals and have fun.

Summer Purification Ritual

People who participate in this ritual pass through a big grass ring with priests, and together offer Oharae by reading the Great purification prayer. While they are offering the prayer, human effigies are burned and one’s spirit is purified of any sins and impurities over the last six months.
